Why it made sense for a creative agency to become an evidence and performance-based agency

At OWAK we embarked on a great transformation towards positioning ourselves in the industry beyond being a creative or digital agency only, our intention was to disrupt the industry as a performance, data-only and ROAS obsessed agency.

And that transformation was motivated by a several fundamental questions: What do we do? Are just creative pieces? Are those ideas….great ideas? Campaign reports?…and if we get a little more transcendental around that questioning: why do we do it?

And also going a bit deeper, what is the priority we want our clients to need from our services?

And down there (at the bottom)…what would be that value we can bring to our clients table so that our space in their strategic chain is indisputable?

That motivated us to support this CBI (consumer business intelligence) project, which later on gave birth as the new OWAK with its supercharged positioning. We finally had found a differentiator and power to disrupt the agency world.

That’s how we reshaped the role of consumer and market research in boosting effectiveness in precision marketing at-scale activation sand facilitating decision-making process of marketing teams.
